Matt works as the Campaigns Manager at Manchester’s Central Foodbank, supporting over 1,600 people every month to access nutritious food.

“The common issues we see would be someone’s fridge is broken, and buying a new one is cleaning them out for a couple of weeks. People with health conditions who have had to stop working for a period while they get treatment, and then not being supported quickly enough with other benefits. People with insecure work, like zero-hour contracts, not being able to get enough work to keep them going.”
