Take a walk in someone else’s shoes
Everyone’s story is unique, but together they weave a powerful narrative of how experiences differ across the UK.
In collaboration with the Empathy Museum, we’ve gathered stories from those dedicated to supporting communities facing challenges such as inadequate housing, air pollution, and hunger.
Their stories highlight the impact on those who do not have the essential building blocks in place to support their health and wellbeing: from homes that are warm and safe, to stable jobs, social connections and neighbourhoods with green space and clean air.
Originally an immersive experience allowing people to literally step into the shoes of those working on the frontlines of health, housing, the education system and more; the experience is now re-imagined for digital audiences.
Try on a pair below to understand the world from their perspective.
