Amanda works as an education psychologist, supporting children in care currently being looked after by the local authority.

“At the moment, punishment, sanctions, exclusions are increasing to maintain a level of control within the classroom. There’s a whole group of children and young people who are being excluded from education because their behaviour’s been understood in a way that is not helpful.”
